Over a million baby monitors let strangers watch your kids — some are Wyze

A security researcher found that more than 1.1 million Wi-Fi baby monitors and home cameras — sold under brands like Wyze, Arenti, Boifun, and others — had a flaw that let anyone with a free account pull the video feed from someone else's camera. Motion snapshots of people's homes were even being uploaded to a public cloud bucket with no password on it. Consumer Reports picked it up. The camera maker only shut it down after first brushing the researcher off.
